Equity Steps Inc. doesn’t just help you find a job or start a business; we offer a real, supportive, and sisterly network that shortens your settlement time and makes it friendlier, more strategic, and less lonely. We connect your talent with opportunities, provide practical tools, and surround you with people who believe in your success.
The story behind Equity Steps Inc.
Equity Steps Inc. was founded by two Hispanic migrant women with very different experiences in Canada:
• One with over 20 years in the country, with a background as an interpreter and translator, and experience in the legal, community, and education sectors.
• The other, a recent newcomer with just one year in Canada, with a background in psychology, performing arts, and drama therapy.
Despite being in different stages of their migration journey, they share the same purpose: to support other women on their path to stability and success in Canada. Their connection was Instant – they understand what it means to be a migrant, to live with uncertainty, and to overcome obstacles.
That’s why they created this company: with the conviction that they can make a real difference.
